Simply orange...simply unfooled around with..

I have really been playing with textures and stuff in my pieces, as well as drawing a bunch of stuff i never draw, but i don't really feel like putting them up. I am also experimenting with a series of styles i suppose....i want to do too many of them...o_o i always want to draw like everyone else in the world except myself...haha. :)  

On a sidenote, I have been watching Samurai Champloo.....It is amazing!

Just words on figure drawing

i like-no love figure drawing...i have recently discovered this. That what I love about it so much is the angles, the shapes, the rhythm, the mood, the lighting, the non everything of it. The non thinkingness of it except in what you are doing there, and nothing no where else matters. I think it is because I feel too much...and when I draw, when I draw anatomy and figures particularly I feel nothing at all...I just see and calculate and logically think....I like it. I like it alot. :)

LCAD to Community College

At my old school, I would say, "I go by Honda." Nobody says anything, or even really cares, and most of the teachers know, as well as the students since I have the same peers in most of my classes.

At community college I say, "I go by Honda." I get a few snickers, but mainly a quiet pause and then, "That's cool." by large groups of people. It's honestly kind of weird...

Entertainment Art friends!!

so while I went to school at LCAD, i made lots of friends and classmates there that I admired alot, in both the Game Art major and the Animation Major. Some of them are already amazing, some, like me, have a ways to go. But all that I can see is their potential. :) I hope they continue on their journeys!

I hope to be honored to continue to know them all along their journeys. Lots of people are disillusioned to believe that everyone at art school, "makes it." That is not the case, only those that are most determined, most hardworking, and who have set a high standard for themselves really do. Lots of people are not good in school, lots of people slack, lots of people drop out and do other things. But I am hoping that those people that were not always good, even those that were terrible at drawing, as long as they keep working hard, can get better and one day succeed. I believe it is possible.

On another note for some reason making this post made me feel lots better. :)
